trying to figure out how Evansville's 2nd goal was a short handed goal.
3rd period @ 5:14 EV Shattock 2 min boarding
3rd period @ 6:10 FW Brittain 2 min roughing
3rd period @ 6:27 EV goal by Sonna<Dale>
I'm not seeing it. Help? lol
Was there a rules or stat. change in the ECHL?

I had the same question, John. If I heard the game correctly, Brittain was in the box when the Evansville goal was scored. Chase called it a shorthanded goal when it was scored, and also called it shorthanded during the end of game highlights.
Pardon me if I'm wrong, but sometimes an 86 year old man can get confused.

As I said in the other thread, this is a complex scoresheet system the ECHL uses and it takes some time to get used to. This was Evansville's first crack at it, and obviously there was some rust on that goal. As for Bob, I can't speak to that since I wasn't at the game.

What happened to the story?
It's fixed now.
