Did the Komets sign him or did Conneticut assign him here?

Komets haven't heard anything from Anaheim or Norfolk yet, no paperwork and no phone call on the supposed new players, but David Franke said it wouldn't surprise him, either. Hayes will skate in practice tomorrow and he'll be in the lineup as soon as his immigration status clears which usually takes about a week.

Whats the immigration issue?  He was in Connecticut's camp just a couple weeks ago...  Do they have to re-issue paperwork if going to another team?

Since 9/11, yes, the new team has to start from scratch on a new VISA. Otherwise you could have people switching from job to job with no one keeping track.

No, that statement is not an invitation to start a bunch of political talk, either.
