Honestly this is the best they can do? They look very generic and ugly especially the white one. I was hoping for maybe something modern in this new league with the new spaceman logo but these are absolutley generic. I understand the Komets are pretty traditional when it comes to jerseys but the jerseys from last year were way better then these. Maybe orange helmets might help a bit because black helmets will look extremley tacky with the white jersey. Huge disapointment and i always like there jerseys. These actually are bascially an exact replica of the New Jersey Devils jerseys. I could go on and on about how much i hate these. But oh well its not gonna matter and jerseys mean nothing as far as the quality of hockey, but we could at least look good while playing.

I would actually have to agree with you!! I don't like them either!!

Completely Agree.  Quite honestly these jerseys are just plain embarassing.  These are THE most common and generic hockey uniformsyou could choose.  It's like buying a blank hockey jersey from Wal-Mart and slapping the logo on it.  After all of the marketing and promotional materials have included the new spaceman logo, for the jerseys to not only not include any trace of it is embarassing.  The new spaceman logo looks great and although I'm sure it has its haters, it is new and flashy and can easily appeal to all demographics, including KIDS! Put that logo on the shoulders of the home and road jersey's, that have a mix of classic and modern elements, and create an alternate with the new logo as the primary crest and you can perfectly create a great Promotional and Marketing tool going forward.  Now you can sell Merchandise with the old logo and introduce merchandise with the new logo.  Again this is minor league hockey and needs to be creative, modern , and flashy. It needs to appeal to Kids who beg their parents to go to games.  This is a big Charlie Conway swing and miss on these Jerseys.

I would have to agree as well for the most part. I am partially happy about them bringing back the old logo but other then that these are a joke. The away jersey or alternate needs to be something different the new spaceman or maybe Ft. Wayne down the front at an angle. The black one wouldn't be bad for home games but the white one is hidious. Mix things up a little bit. It's already bad enough looking at the ice with all of those tacky promos all over the place.

Totally agree. I'm thinking these jerseys are gonna recieve 100% negative opinions but that wont prevent some people from buying them still. I say just bring back the jerseys from last year if anything the orange ones were pretty sweet and far better then these. I'm just in shock that anybody who had any part on deciding on the jerseys can look at these and agree that these are gonna look good on one of minor league hockey's most prestigous teams if not the most prestigous team. Anyone who looks at these outta think the same thing, GENERIC!

Retro is old in more than 1 way. Yes, Fort Wayne has a great history but that doesn't mean EVERYTHING has to be old. There's the brand new Spaceman logo which is a step in the right direction, why not use that? Whoever designed these needs to look up the word "modern"

The one plus I can find about these jerseys is at least they don't have the diagonal writing down the chest

the spaceman logo is retarded im definately glad they did not use it. I like the jerseys they look like a komets classic jersey which is what i expect to see when i go to the games. I agree the diagnal fw looks terrible they should always stick with this still of jersey.

Would like some other choices--hope they have some fun stuff in sweatshirts--don 't like the horizontal stripes at the bottom all the time--won't sell well for women!

Fantastic Jerseys! Always loved the fireball. Maybe we will see a specialty Spaceman (newest logo) jersey. It would be fun to see the ages of the people that like the original style vs. something new and a little fresher. Understand and love the strong opinions either way. With all that being said....It is almost "Hockey night in Fort Wayne". That is what it is really all about. I can't wait to renew friendships, make new friends, cheer new players (and old), and just enjoy another season of Komet Hockey. We are so darn fortunate to have such a rich tradition of Komet Hockey in Fort Wayne. I can almost taste opening night! Let's go Komets!

Honestly, I don't think these jerseys are all that bad.  Sorry to say, I do not like the spaceman.  The first one looked like he was possessed.  Last year, the spaceman was so big, he took up the whole front of the jersey.  Did not care for that jersey at all.   I've always been partial to the fireball.  Go Komets!

The Komets have had what 12 or so different logos in their history? For a traditional and historical club like the Komets thats a lot. I have always liked the fireball and it should always be used in some sort of manner from here on. I do like the jerseys but they could have been jazzed up a bit.
