The Komets were expecting two forwards from Norfolk of the AHL, but they got forward Josh Brittain and goaltender Marco Cousineau instead, meaning Fort Wayne has Charlie Effinger, Kenny Reiter and Cousineau to play goal. The Komets have never had such riches in net, but then most teams only carry two goaltenders.
Komets General Manager David Franke said the ECHL changed its rules this week to allow teams to have 20 players on its active roster and also three reserve spots which can be activated at any time. Previously, there were only two reserve spots.
``I'm not interested in moving anybody right now,'' Franke said. ``We'll see how it all works out.''
