For the second game in a row, the Fort Wayne Komets came out flat, took too many penalties and it cost them in a 2-1 loss to the Toledo Walleye before 7,303 Memorial Coliseum fans. The Komets tried to tie it up late, but that was the most energy they showed by far the entire game. Even when they weren't trying to kill off penalties, they looked disjointed, emotionless and leaderless.
