What do you think, if the lockout ends will that hurt or help the Komets in the big picture?

I think they need to go and get voodoo back from Europe after the playoffs last year

I think it will help the K's in the long run. The Komets put together what looked like a pretty good team from the start. This was made better with te addition of quite a few good players from the AHL. If they depart after the lockout ends the K's will still have a pretty good. Other teams will probably be hurt by the departure of AHL players more so than the Komets with the exceptions of a few teams. So the effect on the K's would be minimal with the rest of the league taking a bigger hit.

I could be totally wrong, but that's my opinion.

2 week break being asked for by the NHL....  December first may not happen after all...  They just do not get it....

My biggest concern will be in goal....  Does Reiter get called up?  Does Cousineau (if/when healthy) get called up?  What are the options at that point if 2 of our affiliate goalies move up?

Secondary concern will be losing the power forward that we have been clamoring for the last few seasons in Brittain.  Do they call him up or let him continue to grow the offensive side of his game and gain more confidence for years to come?  You see it in Baseball a lot where they will let a good player blossom at the AA level when having a good season instead of moving him up mid season to AAA...

Will be interesting...
