It is truely a great read. It is one anyone who knows Bob Chase and loves hockey will really enjoy!
Little did I know who he was when I fought the dial of my little radio my dad used when he was a child listening to Bob air the Komets. I took it seriously every night and rode each game like a roller coaster in a dark tunnel. Driving back to Fort Wayne I was fortunate to catch a Fri/Sat game vs Gwinnett. Was able to pick up the broadcast as far out as Dayton and can't remember the last time I did so via a radio. Internet has changed listening to a game and the taken away the art of a broadcasters ability to paint gameplay using your imagination. Luckily I have Kometcast on the southwest coast but can't listen via dads old radio.
