I read through this twice. I'm really not sure which side I would take ( although I think I have more sympathy for the players side). I'm not at all impressed by Gary Bettmann and some of his past decisions. nor do I envy the fact that he's going against a well experienced Donald Fehr ( see major league baseball).
In so many areas they seem pretty close, so close that maybe splitting the difference down the middle would nudge things along. Don't know. Sometimes egos can get in the way after such long negotiations and hostility.
Always have wondered what super Mario is thinking as owner of Pittsburgh and former star player in the league could contribute.
Each time I think the two sides are growing closer and the ground between them is shrinking, it seems that the ground is quicksand.
