I think some changes need to be made ...we are lacking a lot as a team ...some may say its the defensemen & some may its the offense i say both they both have major problems ...defense is lacking physical play & offense the only one i see out there working hard is Tyler Butler ...i think Hayes & Henley could both be physical forces but they lack a lot ....Henley is slow & not physical anymore ..guys skate right around him & he takes to many minors ...now offense only one guy is scoring & leading this team Brandon Marino ...i thinking everybody else needs to step it up or get shipped including Chaulk & Smith losing faceoffs & not scoring (assist aren't scoring ). please get stephon thorne who should be in jail & Schrock out of here they have lost there game ...thanks

Lets not lose our minds just yet. They were playing with all the lines changed up, so being "off" offensively can be expected until they get used to playing together. The very same thing was happening at the beginning of the year until they had more time together.

Being a guy short on defense meant that everyone else had to pick up the slack, and be out there for double shifts at some point in the game, so they were probably gassed in the 3rd period.

We can't demand they get get more physical one the ice, and then complain when they get penalized. Being aggressive has its price.

This is a young team, and there is still plenty of Hockey to be played. No one is going to run the table from here on out, so there will be more losses. As long as they keep working at it,and don't let the losses define who they are, they will improve and hopefully make the playoffs. Then, a 3 game skid at the beginning of the season won't mean a thing.

I think they should know how to play together by now ...if you remember this is the team from last year for the most part.... And when somebody says they need to play more physical does not mean taking penalties & dropping the glooves ...there is more to being physical then that.... like taking the puck to the net & the defense being more physical with the puck like shooting more & taking the body more by not letting them skate right now & beating them to the puck

There were only six out of 15 guys on the ice last night who played here last year.

Other than that, I agree with everything you said.

Referring to the first comment I would say bashing schrock and Thorne is kinda harsh especially schrock considering both of those players are noticeably the only 2 players that give 110% the whole game. Who cares if schrock isn't scoring, that's not exactly his job. He has more hustle then any player I've ever seen and touches every player on the ice with I decent hit on every shift. Lets not freak out and bash someone who has brought alot to the komets in the last few years just because we're on 3 game losing streak. If anybody's fault it's not even close to being Schrocky's fault

At this point i think we should just panic and start second guessing everything. Nahhhhh couple wins will fix everything. Its not a complete season if Evansville doesn't embarrass us like that at least once

Thorne in jail???  What did I miss???  Do explain....

Schrock needs to give up the scoring forward dream and go back to being the third line, agitating, muck and grinder...

If the Komets can avoid any more injuries, get some guys back from IR, and avoid any more moronic selfish suspensions, they should be ok...  I would also like to see Reiter get the majority of the starts in net going foward...

Well we sure got spanked and just need to keep the faith--the Komets know how to take slumps in stride and come back strong--lots of anticipation with NHL--injuries-etc. we will settle into a groove. Need to remember the rules are different this year and pay attention on how to manage this! Know they will figure this out! Go Komets!
