Komets coach Al Sims was on the BS Sports Report today and said he's heard the NHL will start up again on Dec. 1 and play a 66-game schedule. Sims did not name his sources, but I'd say he's fairly well connected.

Interesting. Glad to hear that the season won't be lost, though I really hope it's not the same situation as last time, where they have to lock out again at the end of the deal. Also pretty excited to see the ASG festivities in Columbus.
