I think the Komets are falling apart in the third periods and we aren't scoring like we should ....i think the ones that on the hot seats are Schrock, Thorne and whoever else is not scoring ....Schrock is so overrated his time has come ....
Schrock is the best defensive player on the team! He is not a goal scorer he will never be, he is a grinder/agitator and has more hustle then anybody else on the team. There is a reason why he wears an A on the jersey

I would not say a word against Schrock if he actually was "agitating or grinding"... If he was being a pest and getting under people's skin on the ice, there would be no issue with his play; but he's not playing like that, therefore fans are starting to take issue with his play...
Same goes for Thorne... If your not scoring, then you better be doing all the other things that makes you valuable to this team. Their defense is there; but little else. The Komets need these guys (and others) to be bangers and wear down the other teams top lines. Very little hitting leads to goals later in games.
The Komets may be working hard; but they are out of position a lot these days and its leading to breakaways, odd man rushes and defensive zone turnovers. A personell change or two may wake these guys up.
You can bring anybody in to do what schrock & thorne do thats easy but look at it in the coaches eyes they aren"t helping the team out there not carrying there weight & thats not scoring they got to do that they have shown they can so stop saying thats all schrock is used for is a grinder & look the truth hurts fort wayne boy or not he should be gone ...stop babying poor little schrock his time is coming ...
If Schrock is a grinder/agitator that's fine, I would welcome that. The problem is he's not doing that either. He's doing anything to get under the other teams skin and he's not hitting. Grind in the corner? HA! Schrock does not have the skill set to score in this league so he needs to focus on what he can and has done to help this team or he can focus on packing up his locker.
Same goes for Thorne
Finally a little more realization from the fans that 79 doesn't belong on the ice...if he is supposed to be a hitter, fighter, agitator, then he needs to do it. The fact that he is highly paid is a joke-even if he was doing what he should be doing, he's overpaid
I'm not saying he doesnt belong on the ice...far from it. It's my opinion that he is not playing the style of play he needs to on the ice to be productive for this team. He has the speed, can check, agitate, and fight...those are his strengths in this league. I think more points would fall into his lap playing this style than him trying to force the points to come his way...
I think schrock has lost that style & the way to play the game... i think Gary Graham could use some more players in penscola where schrock belongs ....
