Hey everyone Im down here at the House of Mouse and have been to both games. It was a great comeback by the Komets Friday night. Scoring the tying goal with 8 seconds left was a moment that could help turn the season around. The Komets controled play the 1st period and then the Solar Bears did for the next period and a half. When it was 4-2 the Komets started to play well again and pulled it out. Saturday Effinger was great. And so was the defense. Schrocky was really agressive all game and almost had a 3rd fight. The entire team played well. I dont know if I will make it to todays game or not but lets hope for the sweep.
I will have to say the atmosphere at Amway is incredible. The fans are loud and have fun even as the game is close to over and the Komets are winning 3-0. Nobody left early. As much as I feel the Komet fans are the best and most loyal in mionor league hockey, it would be nice to see the Coliseum do more to get the fans loud and have more fun. It was also nice that there were about 30-40 Komet fans at both games. Everyone was saying hi to each other and was saying Go Komets. Even met some fans who had retired down here from the Fort Wayne area and were thrilled to see the team again. This includes my father. Gotta say this has been a fun road trip to see the Komets win both games so far. Its also 80 degrees and sunny. Sorry to say that. Of course its back to 35 and cold Monday when I fly back.

Isnt that great. I always wear a komets item and every game i have been to more than one person always stops me to talk. NHL Chicago. St Paul. Philly. Columbus ECHL Vegas Florida plus all the other chl ihl cities.

I caught an Everblades game in 2008, wore my K's hoodie, had people stop me at both intermissions and talk about the Komets and Bob Chase. Good stuff
