Interesting to see how different they are playing with Chaulk out of the lineup and helping out behind the bench....

I think it's more interesting when they knew Bob Ferguson and Robbie Laird were there, which they all did.

They were playing the same way in Orlando, Blake...  Besides, these days they can watch their guys any time they want to on the internet and there are scouts in the stands on many a night.  Some of these guys are not NHL contracted guys, so performing every night is a must because you never know whos watching....

No, they weren't on Sunday. Caputi and Lasch were -2 after four minutes and coasted the rest of the way from what I saw. One of the reasons the GM was here.

I know that, and you know that, but I think they often quickly for get that. They could also think they were just being buried here. Plus, they had Smitty centering them last night, which makes a difference.

I think a couple of great wins and one tough loss is just that a normal part of a hockey season. I absolutely want Chaulk back on the ice where he belongs as soon as he is healthy enough and I want Sims behind the bench. Of course you remember the 5 game winning streak we had this season...and the great win on the road in Evansville , and against a top of the standings gwinnett win. All of those games were played with Chaulk on the ice and Sims behind te bench. I just don't think their play was different because Sims gave all coaching duties and decisions to Chaulk. It was a great game...let's hope it continues..it was a team effort..it wasn't because Chaulk changed roles...otherwise why was the result so dramatically different last Sunday? I think we have a great captain and a great coach...messing with either of those crucial roles right now would be a risky move that is not needed. Our season may not be as smooth sailing as we want, but we are keeping up with this league and showing we can play with the top teams. Keep up the hard, eager playing style guys...that was a great game!! Go Komets!!

The style has changed... Less perimeter and more to the net....

Agree, JR. Not 100 percent positive of the reason why, but I would educated  guess say the two scouts had a lot more to do with that than Colin being out.  Maybe it was a combination?

Tonight, Lasch three goals and plus-1, Caputi two assists and minus-1, Smith two assists and minus-1. We all know Smitty plays defense like a fiend. How can you score three goals, not be on the ice for a short-handed goal and only end up plus-1? Yo, guys, there is another end to the ice, and you're supposed to play there, too, even when the GM is not in town.
