My immediate reaction was that it didn't go in. Chris Auger and Ryan Hegarty sitting in the press box thought it probably did go in. Not seeing any of the players react led me to believe I had it right. Maybe not.

What did everyone else think? I did not get to see a replay.

Still bad defense win or lose we don't take the body we just let guys skate by and put shots on goal or in goal I don't get that kind of play the no check on home ice

My brother was at the game and said it looked like a good, solid effort against a top team with 13 ahl level players. He said he saw energy and hustle from start to finish. Sounds like it could go either way tomorrow night.

That sums it up as well as anything. I'm wondering if the Komets will have enough forwards for tomorrow night. Caputi and Firman were both injured tonight and didn't play in the third.

That short-handed Elkins goal was probably the sweetest goal I've seen all season. It's to believe that at one point we had twice as many shots on goal as they did and we were still tied @ 2. I dont mind this loss as much as the one from the other night. They at least played better IMO and looked like they were putting some effort towards a win than they have in previous games. Nice effort from Marino trying to block that last (empty net) goal.

Marino is the way Smith was last year. He's a revalation the way he always plays his fanny off.
