Henley gets the call

He's heading to Lake Erie (Cleveland) of the AHL for at least the weekend.

``I'm very excited,'' he said. ``This is the whole reason I stayed in North America this season, another shot at a couple of more games. If I have to come back, this is obviously where I want to come back to.''

I agree with Hit. This is just getting nuts. Hopefully it settles down in a week or two. It's a great chance for some of the young guys to shine.

Player movement both up and down is part of AA developmental hockey...  Some seasons it's going to benefit us and some seasons it will not...  Get used to it or its gonna drive ya nuts...

Bet you won't see a fan complain if Norfolk doesn't make the playoffs, and the K's do, an Norfolk sends their best at playoff time. Player movement won't be ridiculous then

But who's to say those players will care then any more than some of them do now? There's no guarantee on that.

Florida's cared enough to win the Championship last season....  I'll take that chance...

He will be lucky to any ice time.  He takes to many stupid unnecessary penalties. IMO.

It will be interesting to see if he plays to his size up there.  I have been very suprised this year as to how non-physical he has been.

It will also be interesting if the AHL officals allow him to use his size with out calling something every time he touches someone!

I would be the first to say he has not shown his "size" on the rink this year, but how can you and still stay out of the box. Everytime he lines someone up for a huge clead hit, he gets tagged with a boarding call.

Yet how many times have you seen opponents reach up to tag him in the head with nothing called? Happened against Sunday.

I bet he gets ejected in the first game he plays.

It is not the first hit that normally gets Henley the call, its the little extra he throws in for good measure that gets the penalty most times...  The little slashes, cross checks when the other player is down, etc... is when I have seen the ref throw the arm up...
