Tailing the Komets

Komets win but also lose

The Komets beat Cincinnati 3-2 in overtime on Mike Hoban's slap shot on Sunday, and after the game they announced that Brandon Marino and J.M. Rizk were being called up to Norfolk of the AHL.

``They are leaving for Norfolk tomorrow,'' General Manager David Franke said. ``They have a game Tuesday night and hopefully by the end of the week you'll start seeing guys coming back. I think probably Thursday there's going to be a lot of movement of players.''

But what does that mean for the Komets' game Wednesday in Evansville?

``For Wednesday, we have to figure it out,'' Franke said.

Sigh.  Not more than an hour ago, while skating on the ice talking to J.M., I mentioned how it would suck for us but wished him luck in getting a possible call-up.  Gratz J.M. and Marino!

I'm getting sick of all the movement, I knew there would be movement with the lockout and affiliation but seriously, this is getting old, I spend good money on jerseys, shirts,(personalized) buttons for my daughters and for what, those same players to be gone the next game? I'm done buying tickets to these games to see a different team every week

And, what was it that I said that deserved deletion or being calked a jerk by the moderator? Simply telling anothrr fan to "not let the door hit them on the way out" is so horrible? Some fans who post here have been tellibg othrr fans to not come to games for years now because they have a different viewpoint, and not me doing so is suddenly over the line??? Please explain....
