I recently learned that Cincinnati has 2 affiliations, so they should be affected much more than us. With 15 players under contract with higher leagues, they will probably be decimated at least for the next week.
We should have a sizeable advantage in this situation, with the way our team has been built. The one thing that does scare me is losing both Reiter and Cousineau to call ups.

I also don't understand why we are calling up these "A" caliber players. It would make more sense to go after some CHL caliber players. I have to say watching Elkins play during his short stay in Fort Wayne shows the difference in skill between the AHL and the ECHL. He sure was a joy to watch.
