Good luck to both... Our 2 hardest working guys are now gone. Time for 2 to step it up a notch...I wonder who takes the opportunity this presents?

"Marino isn't going anywhere". Apparently the
AHL feels otherwise.

Are they going to Norfolk or Bridgeport? I have heard both. I am a big Bridgeport/Islanders fan and I don't know if anyone has payed attention to the other teams call ups but Bridgeport picked up the top two scorers in the echl a few days ago. Plus Maggio and Fast.

I think they're heading to Norfolk.....at least, that's what I've heard.

Well I certainly hope they get to play and play well. This a great opportunity to move up or at least get noticed. Is either player contracted to the AHL at all. How does that work?

Likely, they will sign three-game tryout contracts with Norfolk, which means they will be free agents or sign full contracts at the end of that. I believe Maggio was on a three-game contract, which is why the Komets think he might be headed back soon.

They both have the work ethic to make it, Rizk has the size the AHL will like. Marino if he's got a good tough guy to protect him, will be able to go wherever he wants on the ice. He's good any where on the ice.

Norfolk is showing 14 forwards up there.  I would doubt that our guys even play and that they are up there for insurance.  We shall see.  Has Maggio even suited up yet?

Mags played in the game Sunday and had two penalty minutes.
