I've got no problem at all with the comments of LKS.

One thing, though.  I sure wish, when he brings the puck into the attacking zone, that he wouldn't automatically head toward the boards when he feels pressure.  Instead, I wish he would head toward the middle of the ice.  Sure, the defender may separate him from the puck, but maybe he could get around him, draw a penalty, get in position for a quality shot, get enough time for a "helper" to arrive, force the goalie to "freeze" the puck for a face off.  Going toward the boards never results in anything other than getting checked off the play.

Other than that I hope everyone has a great day.

For me, it looks as if circumstances are going to keep me away from the game tonight.  I've only missed a handful during the last seven or eight seasons.  To be honest, with the way this season has progressed,  I'm not sure if I'm bothered more by the prospect of not being able to go tonight, or bothered more because it won't be bother me if I can't.

Alan, I agree with you. LKS enters wide everytime and shoots the puck at the goaltenders chest everytime half way down the boards. It's very predictable of him. In my opinion, LKS should be our extra forward everynight for energy and penalty kill. I would rather see Klotz skate with Rizk and Furdog. Klotz hustles and get to the net better with his size

"Looking to find answers"??

Just went to the Komet home page and read where the Komets are 22-4-0 when scoring at least three goals in a game!  The Komets win over 84.7% of the games when they score at least three goals.  Just one goal per period!!  Nothing else has worked so I think I would try to make them understand what one goal per period could do for them.

I'm not sure what surprised me the most, 1) that their record was so good in games where they've scored three goals, or 2) that they've scored three times in 26 games.

On the other blog, someone was comparing the Komets to the Cubs (trying to compare fans' disappointment).  It wasn't a fair comparison when you think it through because you have to realize...that the Cubs haven't won a World Series since 1908.  That was four years before the Titanic sunk!

Oh well, as I always say, "anyone can have a bad century"!

Apperently the Ks released Jordan, activated Hoban, and placed Klotz on reserve. Anyone have an idea as to why Klotz is back on reserve? Without him we have no size.

Maybe the bus could stop by Norfolk and pick up Schaus, heard he wasnt even on the bus for the Norfolk road game tonight., Sounds like the Admirals dont care to much about the Komets

Well Hoban has been activated and Klotz placed on reserve. Jordan was released. Question does the Komets have say on who the can place on reserve? For instance if Norfolk sends players down to play does the Komets have the ability or say to put them on reserve? Asking why Klotz an AHL player would be placed on reserve and not a regular Komet player? I always assumed that AHL players were guareented to play if healthy

Anonymous? Klotz can skate or else wouldn't have AHL contract!  Your gonna tell me Hoban,Syroczynski, Milam & Hagerty skate better or are an improvement!  3 years in retirement & a power play god to save us in Milam?  Syro out of his league, got size use it, Milam, how long for him to finally score & his +/- another story!  Over Henley or Klotz?  Size, grit, AHL contracts & better +/- ratings.  The whole team is flat, small & not imtimidating!  Teams used to be scared to come into our barn, not anymore!  Want to beat us?  The easy way is to just beat us!  Team toughness & togetherness, where is it? Tired of being out hit at home!  But we won & i'll take it! Keep it up K's!
