Good for Jeff, I wish him well.  His 3-4-1 record I am sure is not reflective of his abilities, even though I beleive he said early on that this league is much slower to him and he has to adjust to it.

Welcome back Charlie.....at least I hope to see you.

Just a guess on my part but Jeff was sent down to be seen play as I anticipate the Ducks to try to trade prior to the deadline.

You could be right. The Devils need a goaltender real bad!

When's the last time we saw a player on the komets roster on one day then be on an NHL roster the next day? That's what this league is about.

I know the Komets are saying "deep thigh bruise" as the reason for his not playing; but those types of bruises do not last this long...  With proper care, it should only take a week to be playing again...

Deep bone bruises can take months to heal

JR you are right with the right care it should only take a week or so . I would love to see him play this weekend against Greenville .. T.J Reynolds 6'2 235 vs Garrett Klotz 6'6 235 would be great ..

When did this happen because he was gonna play down south until the incident. Is this a practice injury ?

Obviously JR does remember John Anderson.....  Who wouldnt...

JR has had deep quadricep contusions and healed with proper care...one while playing softball at 38 and played the next weekend...

Andy Sherman, you are correct about the bone bruise; but that is not what has been reported by the Komets...

Funny how the "injury" came out after his run in with the law (which personally I think is bogus) in South Carolina...

Cam Neely's career was ended by an injury that started as a deep thigh bruise and developed into the ossification of the muscle. My point is you can't gauge the severity of one person's injury based on the outcome of another's.

Cam Neely's career was cut short by a degenerative hip condition that forced him to retire.  The first injury was the thigh contusion from a dirty hip by Ulf Sammuelson; but the 2 major knee injuries is what made him lose a significant amount of time during his career, both of which he succesfully returned from...

Cam Neely was my favorite player growing up...
