Nick Schaus, Colin Chaulk and Al Sims
I liked the interviews, I watched both games last weekend and thought the Komets played very very phusiclal especially nymber 9 for them If we can play with the same type of hit first we should bew ok, but some of the d still played a soft, particullary number 17. but we will see how things fo this weekend, go komets, lets get some dolphin meat.
I'm not sure how the power play is going to improve without a huge improvement of passing skills. Watching Toledo's power play last week, I noticed a team that passes the puck very well. They got the puck moving and had a crispness that allowed scoring chances to develop. They weren't afraid to shoot, and part of that was the fact that most of their passes were tape to tape without spending a bunch of time accepting an errant pass. I'm not sure how the Komets, or any team for that matter, can improve that much with so little time.
Ok Blake quick question for you the Trade Deadline is Thursday at 3:00 PM any thoughts if the K's make any moves or do you think they feel they are good with what they got? Been some interesting trades last couple of days. They really have not made any trades all year that significantly improved the hockey club just relying on Norfolk to send players. With the guys from Norfolk here they have some bodies they could deal both forwards and blueline.
You don't count adding Syro, Beau, Gates and Milam through free agency?
I'm trying to find out the answer for you.
What if the team decided they are sellers at the deadline instead of buyers and look towards building for next season?
