I would much rather see a 5-5 game. At least you know somebody out there has the ability to score. A 0-0 game doesn't give you much confidence that either team is capable of breaking the tie. That's where I really like seeing the shootout after a scoreless OT. You get to see who has the best shooters, and which Goalie has been hiding behind a good defense.
