I'm real happy that Lang is doing the stuff that is getting him noticed. Everything is so early that it takes some guys a little longer to get in gear, learn new systems, get acclimated to new linemates and surroundings.
One thng that concerns me are the injuries to Follmer and Vaskivuo. I realize the injury to Firman was a part of game action, but getting injured because of a "rut" in the ice give me pause. New ice should be examined pretty thoroughly and be laid long enough so it has time to set up.
Any update on the condition of Follmer and Vaskivou's injury would be appreciated.

I don't know what I was thinking. My mention of Firman's injury was totally incorrect. I meant Gates. I guess I got my ex-Icepilots mixed up. (Gee, I hope I haven't jinxed Firman!)

The wording of your sentence reads as if Firman was an Icepilot.
He has only worn the orange and black.

My comments obviously had Gates and Firman totally mixed up. Sometimes my mind doesn't work as well as I'd like. (Kind of obvious, isn't it!)
