Blake, with the inconsistency that we have seen on defense, was there a reason why the kid was released? We have been hearing for the past 5-10 days that he was ready to go....

I don't think he was ready to go, and they need the roster spot.

Thanks for the response Blake; but something doesnt seem to be adding up...  Some fans talked to him this past weekend and he was all geared up and saying he was going to be playing this coming weekend...

Other fans stated they were skating with him while the team was in Vegas and said he looked great and commented about how he was ready to get into a game...

I was really looking forward to seeing if this was the stay at home, hitting dman the komets need right now...

Oh well, I guess...

What are your thoughts on this Blake? You seemed pretty high on Follmer early on and commented a week or so in that you thought he was that stay at home dman the Komets needed...

What changed (not with you), because it seems odd to keep him around this long only to release him???....

It wouldn't shock me if he went to Bloomington or someplace like that, got in shape and came back. It's really tough at this point in the season at 3-4-2 to put somebody in the lineup cold, who has not been playing, and hope for the best. Komets are not in a position to do that right now. These four home games are as critical as games 10-13 can be. I think Kyle is a great kid who needs to go get his wheels moving.
