Komets are very flat tonight in Kalamazoo, and the Wings are taking it to them. The first Kalamazoo goal was a perfect tic-tac-toe pass with a great shot by Aaron Clarke, top-shelf, short side. The second was another seeing-eye long-range along the ice softy that Cody Reichard wishes he had another chance at.
Reichard has played well, but the Komets aren't getting any offense going again. They started the second period with 1:36 of a two-man advantage and a full 2:00 power play but managed only one shot on goal. They had four shots in the second period total. On their two best scoring chances of the period, they missed the net by six feet.
Schrock is trying to get things going, but he's working along a lot of the time.

That period K's got dominated..Too much being made out of how well they played against Florida no moral victories and no points given for leading after 2 periods. Need someone to step up and do something a big hit, fight or something most act like they are not interested in playing tonight

Only 1 positive thing out of tonight game, we didnt blow a lead but we sure blew with every other part of the game.
Well Hoss I believe there are few others that would rank up there with tonight's effort. Scorers are not scoring and the 3rd line is non-esxistant in any form or fashion. They put up money to bring in Lyon who wanted more ice time and honestly they should have given it to him to see what he had to offer outside of toughness. They make a statement with trading the Captain after Graham called out a few players. Makes you wonder if last night was all about Flordia just not playing their A game and found a way to win with the performance the K's displayed tonight against Kzoo. I honestly think the only guy who puts in a honest effort upfront is Auger, he is noticable at both ends of the ice.
