That was pitiful.
This one was embarrassing. 5 unanswered goals and another empty netter? Why is this team of mostly young players always looking so tired in the 3rd? Is this something Graham can address in practices or do the guys need to hit the gym for more conditioning?
I'm wondering if they are getting worn down physically. I know they want to be an aggressive, speed team on the forecheck, but I'm not seeing much physical play up front at all. They can either hit or be hit, and it looks to me like they are getting worn down up front, especially. When you are a puck possession team, that means you are going to get hit more, too, but they've been out-scored 14-6 in the third period so far. I know from watching practices this team is in much better shape than last year's team at this point. They are spending more time in the gym as a team on spinning classes and the like. They just look a little fragile confidence-wise and need to find some resiliency.

Worn down physically? 7 games in, is that possible?
Wow, blow a 3 to 1 lead. 2 real stupid penalties, Faceoff with 6 seconds to go in the 2nd period and we get a 2 min boarding call. That was uncalled for. Also Schrock's 5 min boarding call late in the 3rd. Reichard is weak glove side up high. Dont understand why he played today. Maybe coach wanted to see him one more time before he gets sent down. He is not ready for this level of play. Watch for Max Strange to get another chance until Muse gets back here. Dont know why Gates is not playing.
Not sure about the being worn down physically thing...unless they just aren't doing enough in practice. They had two nights in Evansville to recoup from the game on Sunday. Really don't know what to think at this point.
As I have been saying since opening night. We are not very good. Too small up front and too slow on defense.
They have played a lot of games recently, so, I can buy the tired idea, to an extent.
