Tailing the Komets

Komets down early

Evansville leads 3-0 as the Komets obviously have not gotten off the bus yet. Lots of rebounds in front and turnovers have led to three goals by Tom Zanoski.

It was pretty obvious that the komets did not want to be there. Hopefully they show up on Sunday.

How did they go from pulling together after a tough day and putting in a good effort, to not wanting to be there tonight Anonymous?

Evansville fans said the same thing, they appeared to have that unmotivated style we have seen a few times this season. It doesn't surprise me at all that they played with all they had last night, then gave a sad effort tonight. They are a very up and down, inconsistent team. Strong leadership and coaching could get that under control. I think Schrock does have a chance of pulling the team together, hoping he flourishes in the roll as captain. Just need to get through the next few games, move past the players quitting drama and see how things look mid January.
Graham still has time to show he is the coach the Komet's need. Not sure firing him right now is the best choice. I was very disappointed when he was hired just because I felt like he may not be ready for a team of Echl players. I don't think he is a bad coach, He has youth, energy, and plenty of passion for the game. He should get the full season to give it all he's got.
UNLESS player after player continue to quit. Than it is time to move on from Gary and go for experience.
