How nice to read about players who actually WANT to be here!  These two additions may mark the beginning of a "new" season for the Fort Wayne Komets.

With Dale and Ouellet in town, the player(s) coming from the Orlando futures trade, and maybe even the return of Fleming, the Komets may be on the start of the comeback trail.

Selfishly I hope they are both in today's lineup, but would understand if they would be delayed until tomorrow with Cincinnati, or even 'till next week so they get some practice time under their belt.

Whoever did the work on getting them here, deserves a "well done".

The roster situation is getting interesting.  For the paying public, these are the kinds of moves we wanted to have happen, and expected to see!!

Just wondering about the visa situation with Ouellet.  He's Canadian, and I thought that he had to go through a new visa application even if he switched teams in the same league.

This thing always seems confusing to me because I feel we sometimes get different answers to the same question.  Doesn't seem any way possible that the Komets applied and got a sped up review.  I thought a normal review was up to a month, and a sped up review was at least a week.

Because he already had a VISA in the ECHL, he's good to go. It does get very confusing. I feel like I need a rule book for the rules in this league.

Thanks, Blake.  For the first time in a long while, I'm really looking forward for the game.

The dreaded upper-body injury. He won't play this weekend.
