He's used to this kind of stuff being used against him, perhaps? LOL. Knew there was some devious way you were bending him to your will.

Two more rebounds.

Why is makarov still in the game giving up 2 goals on 5 shots in the first.

Shots are 26-14 in Fort Wayne's favor, but the score is 4-1 against. I think all four Elmira goals came within four feet of the net. I know three of them for sure, three on rebounds.

Defense not doing their job in front of the net..Still think this club has a long way to go in the toughness/gritty department don't have enough guys willing to do the extra.  Just can't believe that a Komet team lacks so severly in that department

Spent most of the 2nd period in our own end.

Im really questioning the  Makarov start.  Coach should have kept riding the same horse that brought past two wins(including a shut out).

Have to play him sometime in case you need him later. Learned that a lot last season. I'm sure they'll go with Meisner on Wednesday.

This game can't end soon enough. Boring.

I figured you would be used to it by now. I am.

And the Komets slide meekly into 10 place....

2-2 during the easiest 6 game stretch of their schedule...

Gates should have kept commentating with Shane... He was on the ice or in the box for 3 of Elmira's goals...

Komets were awful in their own end tonight...

Is it OK if I wonder a little bit?

I mean if I post something on here because I'm confused with all the questionable dealings this year, would anyone get upset?

I don't mean to start something, and I don't have one shred of inside information on this, but are the Franke's thinking about selling the team??

The reason I ask is because I don't ever remember such a relunctance on trying to make the team better.  It's almost to the point of comedic folly now.  If the goal is to just make it through the year and put the team up for sale, then more power to them.  Except for a taste of honesty to their STH's, its totally their business.

We, as fans, always seem to get mixed signals from the Franke family.  We keep hearing how, as a family, the Franke's hate to lose.  Yet three of the last four seasons have been full of losses (especially at home).

Now, as I type this, the team clearly is in a spiral.  It may not be in a nose dive, but it certainly isn't in an upward progression.  There is absolutely no evidence from the front office of anything going on to improve its place.  We hear stories of "futures" coming soon.  My question is, just exactly what is the status of the roster?  If there is no one coming, or no one willing to come, or no one worth coming here...then just tell us!

Don't prolong the ordeal of watching, hoping, rooting for a team that has absolutely no chance, as it stands today.  (The odd thing, to me, is that with a couple of goal scorers, and  a stay at home defenseman,  a veteran type mentoring goaltender, this team could zoom).  I've posted this before, and I'm sure Blake is tired of reading it!

I would love for someone to just come right out with it.  Ask the question, get a straight answer.

If you're going to sell, that may explain some things.  If the roster cannot be improved, then let us know.  There are choices to be made.  By both the owners and the fans.
