Where are all the Graham and Captain Schrock haters now? Obviously the system is working and everyone is on the same page. They are playing great hockey and I hope it stays that way.

Opinions are just that, opinions. Do I absolutely love it that the Komets are finding success? YES. Do I totally disagree with Santa for posting his opinion or thought, NO. But in its context there sure spills through some sarcasm.
This is the kind of Komet hockey we all were hoping to see. I, for one, am hoping that it continues. But saying that, it is hard to ignore all the travails that has brought us to this point. Lots of it lays squarely on the coach and GM ( a share belongs to the players also). To their credit, moves have been made to shore up the collapse of the team and recommit to the ultimate goal. The "standings" are firming up. Those OT and SO losses are hard to ignore also and I hope don't affect the year-end results adversely. That remains to be seen, doesn't it?
So, let's let Santa have his fun. To do otherwise would be to hope he fails in his thoughts. Don't let his "I told you so" attitude affect in such a way that the human response would be to do the same to him, only in reverse. Doing that would entail hoping the wonderful play stops and that wouldn't be the thing for Komet fans to hope for.
So Santa, have your fun, go after those terrible fans and bloggers who only wish for the best and have the teams' best interest in their thinking. And...oh, yea....for the record.
Would you leave this team alone, or do you feel a need in some area to improve? Put yourself on the line now and tell us. We will be waiting and watching for your wisdom.

I agree with what both of you are saying. Santa, you probably had faith from day one and Alan you probably did as well but also realized what was missing and how ridiculous they looked at times. With that being say before Santa responds or anything like that, I think everyone should just stay calm and not attack each other. Now for my opinion. I think they are playing well. Defense seems on point and our penalty kill is awesome right now. Still need some work on the PP. I am curious how they will play down in Florida if they take 2 of 3 that would be freaking amazing. Keep it up fellas. Oh one last thing.... I have to agree that some people on these blogs have been pretty quiet in regards to attacking players and coaches since they turned it around. Just saying not trying to start a bunch of attacking.

I'm still not a huge Graham fan. I believe the Komets are winning because they brought in some better leaders who are leading by example. I still think that if the Komets had hired a coach with more experience they wouldn't have had as much turmoil in the beginning of the season and would be more successful but that's just my opinion. I also don't think it's a coincedence that the Komets have started playing better and winning more since the captain has become the 10th forward.
One last thing. I find it funny how the Komets keep bringing up how detrimental Lang and Vaskivuo were to the team. If this was fully true, then why would Coach Graham make Lang an assitant captain? Don't you want players who are leaders in the locker room as captains? To me that doesn't make sense.
Again, just my opinions. I'm glad the K's are finally starting to play well and I hope they make a run in the playoffs. It could get really interesting if John Muse gets sent down for the playoffs. I don't believe his team will make the playoffs in the AHL.

Made him an assistant captain hoping to get him to buy into the discipline of the system. Never happened, but that was the reason and the plan.
Doesn't matter if the fans buy into Graham, because the players have. End of discussion. Not saying that to be mean, just the truth. The guys that are here now love playing for Gary. It's the dog days of the season, and the guys love coming to the rink. Usually at this time of year, they can't wait to get away from the rink.
Muse has not played in enough games in FW to qualify for the playoffs, and the Komets do not think he will be returning to qualify.

Still not a fan of Graham's either. I agree that the players have bought into playing and winning as a team, not necessarily for Graham. They are fairly quiet in regards to their coach, they rarely mention him at all. Yet they give kudos to each other quite a bit. Not saying I'm right, it's just how I feel. I don't think he is terrible as a coach, I just have seen, heard, witnessed too many things this season that do not impress me. Yes, I know it doesn't matter how I feel about him or his coaching skills since I am just a fan..and I will cheer this team on regardless of who the coach is,. Keep playing great guys, it's incredibly fun to watch and listen to games when they are played with such intensity. By the way, I would never "hate" on the coach or GM or players...I may I have no personal agenda with my opinions, I'm just a fan.

Does anyone know the roster for tonight? With all the injuries/roster movement lately, I could use some help on refreshing my memory on the "lines".
Oh yes, and by the way, I still haven't seen the answer to my question, Santa. What would you do? Games are beginning again and its just too easy to react after the fact. Go out on the limb.

Hey Alan, calm down buddy. There are a few things to improve on of course just like any team. No one is perfect. Power Play is still struggling. Maybe another d-man. Take a joke old man I was just messing around.
