It is a shame the refs let the game go into OT but we had the same chance to win as kzoo did once it went there, yet again we just can't do it. GDid enjoy hearingreat game but this team is weak at making adjustments and using their emotion to motivate them. Put alot of that on GG. Was happy to hear about the hard hitting and physicality!!

Michael Franke on the radio this morning said "We got out foxed" at the end of the game. He also said all this losing at home is, embarrassing to the franchise." He said we have the worst home record in the league. He was saying we can't use excuses for the loss. We didn't score enough goals and he repeated we got out foxed. We can read between the lines here. I do agree with him.

Great game..Lacasse checked the blank out of guys..Szyd had a great fight..there was checking and even though we lost..it was a fun game 2 c....and what lines should we be reading between... and what should they say????

Well it is pretty obvious what he is speaking to. At the end of the day what happen last night was not the first time in fact it has happened to frequently all year. When all is said and done someone has to be accountable for the inability to close out games you can only blame the players so much that the coach has to take a long hard look at what he is doing or not doing to win those close games. Last night was a good all around game up till the 3rd period of play and when Kzoo decided to turn it up the K's couldn't match them. The where all over the place and only managed 4 shots and I believe had a couple of PP. Two areas we are struggling in PP and closing out tight games in which we have or had leads. These types if games are playing with the K's minds right now and you can sense it coming by the way they start to play. Only thing to be said about last night it appeared to be a more physical game then before and seeing someone other than Schrock stand up was refreshing.

Bottom line is we need to score more goals. Dont put yourself in that position where you have to defend a one goal game night after night.

Exactly. Especially when you quit playing offense in the third period because you are so worried about defending your goaltenders because you think they'll make a mistake. How many times in the last 10 minutes did they just chip it out instead of carrying it out and trying to get to the other end?

Or how many times in the 3rd did the puck come out to the point for Kzoo and we just stood there not covering the point man. We have alot of good average hockey players that score once in awhile, but we still need a guy that can score night in and night out. Like a Lang but with a good attitude.

Time has passed 2 find person u seek..we need 2 live within boundaries of what we have....so seems as if bench directions are necessary 2 get skilled folks 2 shoot as opposed 2 fancy passing..that's as I c it
