Two defensive lapses?
This team still needs offense and, in my opinion, another solid stay at home defenseman. I know I sound like a broken record, repeating myself all the time, but more and more I feel the team demonstrates this by their play.
It couldn't have been easy traveling to a place of warmth and sunshine, after leaving this wintry mess here, and keeping the "hockey heads" on straight. Some have gotten into a family reunion of sorts and that is a wonderful thing for them. The travel, then the short turn around for the first game, probably contributed to the effort or "mistakes".
Now, maybe, they have some things out of their system and we'll see the real team back to work. It doesn't mean they will win for Florida is a professional team also. Hopefully they can scratch out the last two games for wins.
Very happy to hear that Fleming played. Am left wondering how sore he is now after playing this game.

Wow, watching USA womens game reminded me of the Komets....2 goal lead.....deep into the third period and loose it in OT....sad indeed.
