Meisner honored by ECHL

From an ECHL press release:

 Ben Meisner of the Fort Wayne Komets is the CCMECHL Goaltender of the Week for the week of Feb. 17-23.  

Meisner went 2-0-0 with a 1.92 goals-against average and a save percentage of .931 in two appearances last week. 

The 23-year-old made 22 saves, and stopped all four shootout attempts, in a 4-3 shootout win at Florida on Friday and stopped 32 shots in a 3-1 victory against the Everblades on Saturday. 

A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Meisner has won his last four starts, and is 9-2-2 since joining the Komets in a trade with Utah on Dec. 26. Overall this season in 26 games he is 11-10-2 with two shutouts and ranks eighth in the ECHL with a 2.41 goals-against average and is 12th with a .914 save percentage. 

Meisner made his pro debut with Utah last season, posting a 3-1-4 record in eight regular-season games with a 2.63 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage. Prior to turning pro, he played four seasons at America International College appearing in 114 games.

To whom it may concern...get over the continual complaining and try and live in the moment...enjoy where we are and lets move forward....do you not ever get tired of bringing up the same old, same old?  WOW!

Congrats to Ben on his performance last week! That Shootout win was something else. He was fist-pumping all the way back to the bench after that one!
