Let's start the discussion here.
Haven't heard anything yet about a Schrock suspension, but it wouldn't surprise me, and my guess is it would be for tomorrow's game anyway. The league pretty much has to respond to his actions, and the ECHL especially doesn't go for acts like that.
That said, I expect EVERYTHING to be called on Sunday as the ref tries to assert control right away. This could be the least-physical game of the year because of that.
As for tonight, did you realize if the Komets win there's the potential they could be four points out of second place in the entire conference? How insane is that? With back-to-back wins and a little help from Toledo tonight, they could be two points out of first place in the division.

That would be a good thing and just the icing on a crazy season so far--Just makes you bel!ieve that anything is possible--so let's pray
Im praying. BTW, I thought they played well last night. Binnington kept K-Zoo in that game. Kalamazoo did not impress me except the with the planned play at the end of the game. That was good coaching . I also I looked at my buddy with a minute left and said "if the komets win, that little girl will be singing the national anthem for awhile. She did great. Want to hear her more. The K's need a lucky charm at home.
Who is on the bus today??
RG2, you are completely correct. With all of the happenings toward the end of the game, I forgot how wonderful that little girl did singing the anthem. Imagine the poise needed to stand in front of that many people and do such a great job!!
Schrock was not suspended.
Does anyone else feel that this team is a sleeper?
No without better goaltending.
Could be sleeper if you allow one goaltender to play majority of the games.....cannot just keep putting one in, then the other...we saw the result of this last year.....let Meisner play regularly....until he needs a rest
"Good Coaching" on that final play....seriously....I 4 one do not think either coach has that in him....not the way the total game played out....Kzoo is not that good a team looking at them overall....goalie for them looked good because our shots were right at him and he could see the majority....lets get real here
We are here in Cinncy and the guys look pretty focused in warm ups... Hope that is a good sign!
I think Meisner is much more comfortable playing on the road where he's 4-0. He doesn't look near as figidty. I think the guys are more comfortable with him on the road as well, maybe because he gives them more confidence there.
Think Emback enjoys playing against his former team.
Hey! A power-play goal!
Martine might be the strongest player on the team. He's just a bull and has shoulder like a pick-up truck.
You can tell the Cyclones have a gameplan of trying to force Meisner to handle the puck more.
5 slashing minors, 2 fights, and a trip. Another slap shot sequel in the making?
The guys look pretty good and they are sticking up for each other...nice to see
Cincy spent most of the 2nd period on the PK.
It would appear that bringing in Shafranov to work with the PP units is paying off. 2 for 5 on the PP tonight, and a couple more in the last 3 games.
Shaf has not had a chance to work with hem yet on the power play.
Komets are letting them dictate play again...........and as soon as I type that they score.
Big save their on Penalty shot but we still have to take advantage of PP opportunities in the 3rd period almost the same set up as last night
Huge PK and maybe an even bigger penalty against the Cyclones follows that.
OK, who just messed their drawers on that goal waved off? LOL
I am having Deja Vu from last week. My allergy to those freaking referees has returned.
That was a really big play by Coyle there on the 5 on 3 to challenge the puck and give time for the other two skaters to get back into the play.
Thank u Ben..nice game guys....
I love the excitement of a close game keeping you on the edge of the seat to the wire, but they keep this up, I will age and look like Yoda in no time, green skin and all. Good win guys!
Wow, close one again!!
Cincy has to be as frustrated losing to the Komets at home as we have been of our home record.
