I was not a big Marino fan when he first came here, but I have changed my opinion on him over the past two years.  I always thought of him as a little pest, but now that little pest plays for us and that's the best place to be.  He really gives it his all, game in and game out, and that's why he's the league's leading scorer.  It's no wonder with the example his father set for him.  I really appreciate Brandon's work ethic and the fine example he sets for his teammates.  He has made a believer out of me!  Glad to see him wearing the orange and black today and hope to see him in it for years to come.

I really enjoyed this article, Blake.  It gives us some significant background on Marino and explains why he works as hard as he does, all thanks to the fine encouragement and upbringing of his father.

Great story Blake. Mo has always given a 110% on the ice every game, it's nice to get a little background on what motivates and drives him to give just a little bit more.

Another great story Blake. It's so nice to hear about the man that the Komet is rather than just the player. (If that makes sense...)

Like others have said, I was not a fan of Marino when he first came to the Komets. So many times he burned us as a Mallard, I couldn't help but see him with some green on his jersey still. So glad he has changed my mind. He not only puts up points, by shows his leadership by example and his not afraid to throw his body, no matter how much out sized he is, around to make sure others know he is there. I hope his father enjoys his time in the Fort!

If they were in the playoffs, he'd probably play, but I think they are going to play it safe with both he and Pepin and give them a little more chance to heal. No reason not to with how well the team is playing.

I had the pleasure of meeting Brandon' s Dad when he brought him here from California. All I can remember was how he spoke of his son and how he enjoyed watching him play. He stayed at Canlan and took in all that he could. He regretted having to leave early and not be able to see him play in the up coming exhibition game. I hope he enjoys the games this weekend. I know I've enjoyed watching him play for the past 2 years. Mr. Marino, us did good!!
