Take the shoot out wins away and the Komets have more wins. That's why they hold the 8th spot
The Komets currently hold a 1 win lead (regulation wins) over Florida...
Winning in regulation is all the more important the rest of the way as neither the Komets nor Florida seems to want to pull away from each other....
