If I had the capability of deleting parts of comments, I would. Sorry about that.

I understand, Blake.  I was simply replying to what I thought was a cheap shot.

The part about celebrating for Chris Kushneriuk was absolutley a serious comment, though.  He still needs our thoughts and prayers.

I agree, Alan, and I'm sorry, but I don't have the ability to trim. Please don't mention that name here.

These aren't just message boards, they are representative of professional organizations. They will always be held to a higher standard. That is not going to change.

Got it, and OK.  Back to hockey.

Listening to the game tonight it seemed as if our defensemen were getting beat most of the time.  In your opinion do you think our D is slow?

By the way, it sounded as if Strang played very well.  And three points out of a possible four seem very positive to me.

Defense is somewhat slow, but you can work with that. Usually they do a great job of pushing the wingers wide as they come into the zone, but it's the trailer who burns them and that's somebody else's responsibility. I just can't understand, when you have a 2-1 lead or a 2-2 score, why they keep trying to force the middle at the opposing blue line and give up turnovers that lead to odd-man rushes. By this time of the year,  you should be so much smarter than that, and I know Gary is harping on it. I've heard him at practice. Some players just refuse to get it. If they don't figure that out, they'll never get called up.

I wouldn't say Strang played well, he played lucky. (Which sometimes is better) The Komets should have won that game but I agree with Alan, 3 out of 4 points on a long road trip is a good weekend.

It just seems Gary often harps but the players still tend to do their own thing...sometimes that is a good result, sometimes it's awful. I don't believe the players don't understand...or don't "get it". Coach has some talented guys, he's got to find a way for his harping to mean something or he won't last long in the league.
