Blake do you have any update on Meisner? Also why would we look to a college goaltender to come in and lead this team? That just seams to me  a kid out of college would not be my first choice trying to make the playoffs.

Quote has him dizzy during the week.. if so why did he start & why were we not looking 4 a backup prior to his going down??? Say when Makarov was called up!

This is one of those rare times where i agree with WhoSuz on everything he posted.  Where is the management?

If they bring in a college kid, are they keeping Saalfrank as the backup? No offense to either of these goalies (I thought Saalfrank did a pretty good job last night considering...), but doesn't seem like the duo to pin the hopes of a playoff position on.

Another reporter has stated that Meisner did not tell anyone that he was dizzy prior to the game.

While were not out YET...thought I would IMO state whom should stay..purely based on my game viewing: Embach..Marino..Southy..Fleming..Szyd..Auger..Coyle..Schrock..Pep in..Clarke..Maione..Nutty..Ben

SB out..rest...again just an opinion to generate discussion...some cannot be judged because they have not played enough.. Bruijsten..Dale..D..Ouellet...& Bruneteau ( btw- why is this guy on the roster?

Can't find another goalie?

On the 17th Evansville released Alex Kangas.  Maybe he isn't great but he sure beats an inexperienced goalie that needs to drive from New Jersey in a day.  Komet people are familiar with him.  He knows his way around the Coliseum, and is a heck of a lot closer than New Jersey.

Not "easy" to find another goalie?  Hogwash.  It all depends on how hard you are trying.

By the way, Toledo released a goaltender this week also.  Is Toledo closer than New Jersey?

Sorry, I'm having a hard time buying into it....

Alan

Do you have any experience running a business or managing people?

If so, how successful were these businesses and/or how effective were you as a manager?

Heck, with your self promoted Armchair GM resume, maybe the Komets will hire you.

You always have the answer(s) to the Komets problems, don't you.

Anonymous, why do you have do bash Alan for having ideas? For the life of me I can't figure out how what he does for a living has anything to do with this other than you not agreeing with what he said. Fair enough, you are entitled to your opinions but there is no need to insult someone in this fashion.

By the way, I do happen to run a business and manage people. We are a very successful company both domestically and internationally. I agreee with everything Alan said.

What are your ideas on how this situation could have been handled more efficiently???

Thanks for the support, Kevin.  Yeah,  Anonymous is certainly within his rights to offer up opinions.  I hear criticism from him but never any answers.  I offered up my location at the Coliseum to him, but never heard a peep.

I'm looking forward to Friday. Now, especially in more ways than one.

Alan -  No one cares where you sit.

But really, don't you have anything better to do in your life than to continually criticize every action the Komets organzation makes on the local hockey blogs ?

You ALWAYS think you have a better solution. You ALWAYS second guess decisions. You ALWAYS act like you have all the information.

What is the next Komet-related decision you are going to object to?

Gee, Anonymous.  I didn't know I was forcing you to read my thoughts and opinions.

I give both praise and criticism when either are deserved.  (Clue-don't go to the other blog and read my last comment...it will just make you mad)!

I believe in using facts and logic before I decide on my entries.  I try to stay away from emotion ( although I'm sure a little will work its way in sometimes).

I am not afraid to criticize when its appropriate. I'm not afraid to praise, either.  (Heck, I spoke to David Franke before the last game about stuff.  He didn't seem upset so why are you)?

So, my advice to you is to ALWAYS (I loved the emphasis you used in that "post" so I decided to use it here)  skip the things that bother you.

P.S.  If you believe in the things you so dearly love, then why be "anonymous"?  Put your real name up for grabs.  I bet a lot of people would be shocked because of who you really are!
