In the off season, when the speculation was that Auger AND Fleming might not even survive the cut, I always knew that they would be the best "surprises" of the year. Especially Fleming. Everyone knew that Auger had the talent. Coming back from the knee injury was the question. I think most people knew that Fleming had the talent, too. Coming back from the "work world" was his question mark.
I'm happy that both made the team, played so well that they are 2/3 of the top line, and I hope that Auger can withstand the shoulder problems and Fleming any conditioning problems with playing a full schedule.
They are both two of my favorites and I hope they both decide to come back for another year!

Oh, by the way. I spent a lot of time watching the Cincinnati Reds yesterday. A three hour rain delay followed by the game itself.

Reminded me of a Komets game. How, you may ask?
Jump out to a 3-0 lead and then lose the game.
