Good to see Deano back! I wish Carter was still in though.

Watching the Kzoo series and Orlando series they have been very rough fights, checks, and face rubs one thing the K's must do vs Reading is agitate more and this is where Schrock has to do more of.  In some sense series has been very tame.  Take a note from Dallas they have got under the Ducks skin and it has paid off.  K's need to get under Reading's skin in these next 3 games if they can't I don't hold out much hope for this series

Solid first period. Komets leading 1-0 on an extra effort goal by Aaron Clarke. Shots 14-12 Fort Wayne. Reading is not putting forth the same effort the Royals did in Game 2. Playing a more cautious, opportunistic game. Komets are playing defense first. No penalties in the period.

I thought the first period was rather sloppy for the most part, but Clarke's goal was great effort

Komets up 2-1 after two on a great individual effort by Dean Ouellet, but I can't help but feel they should be up by two or three goals. Komets dominated the shots 17-8 and had a bunch of great scoring chances but couldn't score. For some reason, Reading is playing the Komets' style, which is even more reason why Fort Wayne needed to score at least one more goal in that period.

That Deano goal was only possible because of a beauty of a kick save by Ben. One of the best saves of the year!
