How do Southorn and Danis-Pepin survive playing so many minutes?
Good story on approaching, during and after the game in playoff hockey. Resting and staying hydrated are key to both the physical and mental alertness needed to win.
The only other factor is for players to just play their game. Like the Komets fifth game and the Flyers-Rangers sixth playoff game. the K's and Flyers both started the game of not wanting to make an error which resulted in both games of players not pinning the opponent in their zone, missed passes because of not wanting to miss the perfect pass. But by the tird period the Komets/Flyers just did it! Hard fore checking, quick passes, and just doing it over trying to make the perfect play.
Playoff hockey comes down to, "JUST DO IT, DON'T THINK ABOUT IT"
