Tailing the Komets

Game 4, Round 2

Peter Tarnaris is the referee. This is a must-win game for the Komets who need to come full-bore from the opening faceoff. Should not have to be talking about that in the playoffs, though. Same lineups as Thursday night.

I think it might be time to change some forwards for some fresh legs with Dale and Miller.  Many have talked about Schrock and sitting him in favor of Dale, but they way I look at it is Schrock completes his role as  a 10th forward taking maybe 6 to 7 even strenght shifts a game and is used on the PK.  The two who I think you could move out of  line up based upon production is Fleming who only has 2pts and is a team worst -6 and Auger who only has 1 pt and is a -5.  These two see a lot of ice time and there role is to provide offense which they have not in 8 games.  That there is a problem.  I would also used Sefton and sit Lacasse for a bigger body.  I am not down on those two forwards but they are not producing and they have been a liability in terms of defensive hockey.

No line up changes according to pre-game talk with Chase.

Chase letting the K's have it for their 1st period lackluster performance.  Got dominated again by Cincy, not hitting, not creating havoc around the net.  Here is a thought take Pepin on the PP on put him in front of the net have to take advantage of PP chances.

So far they look worse than Thursday night!

Thank god for Meisner. Komet look completely lost. It's about time they start declining penalties. That PP if that's what it's called look pitiful. Couldn't even get into the offensive zone.

Time for me to post something controversial. You think the reason Marino never made the playoffs in his career before this year and hasn't been productive is because he is a Todd Robinson guy that won't go fight for the puck in the corners or take it deep. I have seen it every game of the playoffs and for that matter every game of the series.

Great job Komets!--keep the Oulett's and Schrock on the same line--it is a great shut out line--reminds me of Risk, Thorne and Schrock when we won the CHL championship--Keep it going whoever you play and just be sure to play smart!
