It's no secret that this was an up and down season with all the turmoil earlier in the year, but once things and personnel settled down, the team seemed to gel. Although things didn't end up the way most of us would have liked, I am hopeful for the future of the team in this league. With a core group back next year, and a few new significant additions, I think we can look forward to a more productive team on the ice next season.
I would just like to thank those players that were here from the beginning and stuck with it through thick and thin, despite what was going on in the locker room. And thanks to those players that came in later through all the trades and fit right in. A shoutout also to the hardcore Komets fans that continued to show up for each and every game.
Have a great summer everybody and get ready for another exciting season of Komets hockey in the fall!

Congrats K's on what I thought would end in the regular season. Great couple of playoff rounds....well done and look forward to next year...glad Coach is coming back along with Assistant coach Shaf.
Would like to see back...Meisner, Southorn, Pepin, Marino, Embach, Clarke, Schrock, Sefton, Summerhayes and Syd. Just to go on record and see what comes in October.
Nice to spar with you all during the past many months and look forward to doing it again.....it was fun last night seeing the majority of the players at the auction...best of luck to all in the off season.

RG2..& all...why not limit number of players an echl team can be given from an affiliate..or force a team to have to have players play a number of games prior to the playoffs
Cincy..what r u telling your regular season players..that they r not good enough 4 the playoffs?..by bringing in all these higher level players!

The ECHL is here to serve the AHL. They don't care about the fans or the teams.
