Tailing the Komets

What do you think?

Do you think they are done, or can they still pull it off? What lineup changes would you make? Would you mess with team chemistry at this point?

Top line needs to be Dean Embach and Marino. Second line Syd Clarke and Ouellete. Third line Dale Carter Schrock. 10 Forward Auger. Same defensive pairings. Its gonna go seven games and that last game will go to overtime. Komets will face the challenge like they've been all year and finally prove some people wrong.

I think that the komets will make the upset because if they manage to tye the series at 3 with a game 6 win. Then game 7 will be an all or nothing game. The komets have already shown how they can out work cincy. The mentality that the komets need is to act like they are down by 2 every minute of the game. If they do that they could potentially dominate the next two games.

GO KOMETS!!! It aint over untill it's actually over. Go kick Cincinatti butt.

I'm convinced they believe they can do it. They were pretty rock solid after the game.

I can't remember the makeup of this team to any other in all my years of following the Komets. I believed this series would go either 5-7. The Komets have worn Cicny down. After one period or so the zip zip passing becomes so so. The key is forechecking hard in Cincy zone. Plus just put the puck on the net and work for ugly goals.

Common sense says this series should have been easy for Cincy but there is something about this group of Ks that winning is not out of the question and I would give them 60-40 odds of doing it.

It is time for one or two Ks to show up on the score sheet. There are no easy goals in the playoffs. They need to take the hits and getting knocked around to score. I just wonder if they have the pride to again become leaders over just being so so?

Tuesday night: Komets are down by 2 before you turn your radio on.

They will come back and win and Cincy will lose their minds and then

game 7 becomes a free-for-all like we haven't seen since the "Bruise Brothers"

and we win that also.....................ahhhhh, playoff hockey!

Yeah, they are still in it. These have been very tight games, especially with 3 straight OT's. For all the cyclones talent, they still can't pull away and win decisively because the Komets have superior teamwork. They just have to eliminate the small errors that have turned into points.

One D man HAS to cover the backdoor at all times, or cincinnati's drop-back pass is going to kill us. They practice it constantly in their warm-ups and have gotten very good at it.

Sorry as much as I want the K's to win.....

and I do want them to win...

They will not be able to take 2 games in a row in their barn.

Not unless they can tighten things up and dont give up any leads.

Heres to hoping they prove me wrong!
