Komets re-sign Szydlowski

From a Komets' press release:

TheKomets announced Tuesday that right wing Shawn Szydlowski has agreed to terms and will return to the Komets' lineup for 2014-15.

 Szydlowski, who will turn 24 Aug. 5, had a career year last season with Fort Wayne scoring 11 goals, 26 points and accumulating 46 penalty minutes in 63 regular season games.  The skater finished the regular season scoring points in 10 of his last 15 games (5g, 7a) and was named the Komets' Most Improved Player of the year.  Sydlowski led the Komets in the playoffs with six goals and 11 points in 11 games.

The St. Clair Shores, Michigan native will be entering his fourth pro season.  Szydlowski signed a three-year entry level NHL contract with the Buffalo Sabres in April, 2011 and skated 53 games during 2011-12 with Rochester of the AHL while also appearing in six ECHL games with Gwinnett.

I  am very happy he is coming back. Excellent 2nd line forward in this league.  I see an even better year for him.  Once he got put on a line with Mike Embach, he started to produce. I think he can easily be a 25+ goal scorer in this league
