I saw the FUEL just signed Kenton Miller & Garrett Klotz! Just my opinion, no big loss with Miller, although Fuel coach (Scott Hillman) talked about his scoring & team records in (CHL), dud here ! Klotz, I liked him when he was here: big, hit, went to corners & fought! Not saying he was an all-star, but I like those kind of players! At this rate & I know its early sounds like Indy maybe going down the same road/path the K's did 1st year (CHL, All-Stars)! I know they have an affiliation & even though news is slow on the home front, not impressed with INDY FUEL......YET!

You're correct, RG2. "As dry as unbuttered toast".
In one of Blake's earlier threads he conveyed that D. Franke was going to take things more slowly this year. Well, that seems to be the case. My response was and still is, that if the K's win the Kelly Cup because of a methodical off season, it will be worth the wait. Patience is the key.
But I don't think anyone would argue that this is kind of a new path. And maybe there are plenty of players signed (just not yet announced). And maybe things are being held up because whoever the affiliation is with is dictating some of the timing of things. (My thinking is the NHL team is the Dallas Stars). If you want to read the reasons why, you'll need to go to the other blog ( the thread is a couple of days old and has about 16 responses). It would take too long to repeat it here.
I'm probably wrong on that but it was fun "sleuthing". Don't take anything about that real serious. It's just so boring that I wanted to have some fun.
The facts are that there are about 90 days till exhibition games. Eighty days till camp. Season ticket early bird pricing is due by the 25th this month. It seems that this would be a great time to encourage some extra ticket sales, doesn't it? By announcing the affiliation, some player signings just might do it.
July is a slow time for most sports. I don't remember an off season that has been so slow for the Komets.
They will do it in their own time and we need to have faith that they are doing the things they need to do. That's my op-ed, anyway.

Good use of the word acute. I meant obtuse as "dull, ignorant". However both acute and obtuse can be, and are, used as terms in geometry as angles of a triangle.
Orange koolaid, if your comment was meant for me regarding "thongs being twisted", not true. I think all of us want what's best for the Komets and if waiting is the key, then so be it. The best thing about the Komet website now, is the fact that it includes a calendar. (No new information on it so at least you can refer to it to check what day it is)!

Well, it seems like the populace has spoken.
Because my posts seem to cause rancor among the natives, it seems the best path to take is a hiatus or vacation from the blog. Maybe after a time it might become prudent to post here again. I'm not sure when, but I am sure that a blog becomes weaker when its contributors dwindle in number. (If you want proof, go back into the archives and recount the "lost" people and the number of posts they placed. Then compare it with today).
