Komets acquire Severyn

From a Komets press release:

The Komets announced Tuesday that they have made a trade with the Alaska Aces and have acquired the rights to left winger C.J. Severyn in exchange for future considerations.

Severyn, 25, was traded to Alaska this summer by the Orlando Solar Bears.  His rights have subsequently been traded to Fort Wayne.  Severyn completed his second season with Orlando last year scoring 11 goals and 34 points in 43 games.  He also skated six AHL games in stints with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Utica during the season.

In 2012-13, Severyn joined Orlando for their inaugural ECHL season and ranked second on the team with career highs of 22 goals and 44 points in 62 games while collecting the Solar Bears' MVP award.  He was also named to the ECHL All-Star Team.
