Tailing the Komets

Komets announce roster moves

From a Komets press release:

Defenseman Gabriel Beaupre and goaltender Sami Aittokallio have been reassigned to the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters by the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL.

Beaupre appeared in two games (0 points, 8 penalty minutes) while Aittokallio started four games (3-1-0, 4.90 goals-against average) for the Komets during their brief stay.

The Komets also announced that goaltender Eric Levine has been called up from Peoria of the SPHL.  Levine, 26, participated in the Fort Wayne training camp in October before joining the Peoria Rivermen.  Levine appeared in four games with the Rivermen posting a 3-0-1 record and 1.47 goals-against average through games of Nov. 15.

I'm not surprised nor disappointed with these moves.  I'd like to see what Levine does with his chance, but wouldn't be surprised by another move regarding a goaltender.

Since Beaupre is gone, is this a signal that Krug will dress?  My gut feeling is that this team will miss Pistilli more than we think.

Sami was called back to LE because one of the Av's goalies suffered a repeat groin injury.  Once the Av's have both of their goalies healthy, I don't expect LE will carry three goalies.

They've been carrying three goalies pretty much all season.
