I saw Condon was on some Rule 21(b) reserve status, what's that mean?
League said it was just a mix-up in paperwork. It's just a regular reserve spot.
Some huge hits early by both sides. So far Garrett Meurs and Gabriel Beaupre have shown they can take some bad penalties. Beaupre also hit Alden Hirschfeld with a knee that didn't look good.
Toledo's Joel Chouinard scored first on a power-play slap shot that went between Aittokallio's right arm and body. Walleye coming up on their third power play of the first period.
It's 3-0 and the Komets have to hope they can just get out of the period. Aittokallio has made some great saves and missed a couple he probably wishes he had back. Defense did not help him, either, but that's the goalie's job sometimes.

Sami seems to be the weakest link on this team. And they sent Tremblay back to juniors?
So true, as seen in the Reading game he basically gave up every power play Reading had that day. It doesn't seem like that has changed going in to this game based on what has happened so far in the 1st period. 0 - 3 REALLY!!!
Despite that weak variable they still found a way to win. Every guy on this team has some magic in the pants somewhere. Maybe they will pull it out for the next 2 periods.
Komets had 20 seconds of a 2-man advantage but couldn't crack Lerg who has a 1.51 goals against average and .939 save percentage coming in in four games. Walleye are blocking shots all over the place.
Toledo just scored on its first shot of the second period eight minutes in. Five-hole.

Embach got a game for I believe a kneeing major. You can't hear the PA here at all. I thought it was an easy call. He went for a hip check and didn't quite get it.
