I could have counted incorrectly but I get 9 forwards for tonight with Schrock being out. I hope this relationship with Erie is not going in the wrong direction.

The Avalanche lost 3 forwards in two days plus their starting goalie, that's what has happened. They called up a goalie and 3 forwards from Lake Erie. You have to understand the chain reaction of things. I think the affiliation has been going well for both upper organizations. They are not going to take players away for no reason.

This is what the Komets are saying: Komets announced today that center Brett Perlini has agreed to terms and has been added to the Fort Wayne roster. Perlini, 24, started this season with Indy appearing in 12 games scoring two goals and five points before being released Thursday.

Leach is on a FW contract.

So by that I take it he is a waiver claim and nothing is owed to indy.

Perlini needs to back -check. Graham and the rest of the team need him to skate hard both ways. Watching him for indy he seemed to spectate in his own zone.
If he skates hard both ways the whole shift, he can be a very good player. He has played many games against Fort Wayne( Indy, Toledo etc). They know what he brings and what he is capable of.

"Last year is gone and I don't know why we're even talking about it any more."
Well maybe some of the reasons are that season ticket holder money is gone also. Maybe a lot of time invested in the games, and such, are gone also. Maybe the fans haven't quite healed themselves of that "sit on your hands" feeling because of so many blown leads which was so rampant last year.
It's hard to forget, and maybe even harder to ignore those disappointments. His statement will be correct when a state of confidence builds within the fanbase. It started to happen. But with Pistilli and Heard called up, the bright outlook and wonderful success will only return when and if they return, or some equal talent has replaced them.
Since Graham is a noted student of game film, I would have him searching for reasons why the Komets are weak on the penalty kill, and even weaker on the power play.

Brett Perlini traded from Indy Fuel.
How many Erie players are still here, Blake?
